The sudden merger or better say the unification of the two Communists parties of Nepal, the UML and the Maoists center, has created political ripples across the world.
Indeed this Unification or whatever it is, has also jolted other communist parties in Nepal who for the sake of their political survival have yet kept associated themselves with the Communist tag. The fear is that sans the communist identifier, the political animals of the communist brand bluntly speaking, will eventually vanish in the ethereal medium of the Nepal’s political spectrum.
Among the crowd of many such communists splinters, one of the veteran communist leader of the good old days who is though taken by the common Nepali population as to have remained a diehard communist but having practically no followers with him, after a long gap is back again in the media headlines.
Some of his associates deserted him for a variety of political reasons.
He is supposed to have many students who were seated in the top communist parties of today’s Nepal.
Those who left him in the cold decades back have perhaps become multi-millionaires and could be seen in the just merged communists paraphernalia which has created , as stated earlier, ripples around the globe, more so in neighboring India in the South for some unknown reasons.
He is the Chairman of Rastriya Jan Morcha Chitra Bahadur KC, approaching 80 perhaps, who bluntly says that the unity that is talked of having taken place in between the UML and the Maoists is in effect not any unification worth the name as is being made to understand both within and without.
Those who have already, read the parties, abandoned the communist principles and the disciplines and if they stage a unification drama of sorts could not be taken as the real unity among the two, the UML and the Maoists.
“Yes the unity has been of the two capitalist political parties and nothing more than that”, Mr. K C made these observations while inaugurating the fifth District level meet of the RJM followers held in Butwal, May 26 report several Nepali news agencies.
Those who have same food tastes would do well and if they form unity amongst themselves”, said a KC in a very plain language as if such a unity would make no difference for the country.
On the contrary what is believed here is that the Unity in between the UML and the Maoists center will bring Switzerland to Nepal sooner than later.
If not the Swiss nation then Singapore for sure, at least.
The communist leader also said that federal order in Nepal will not run smoothly which, continued KC, “I had been advocating since the last political change in Nepal, has come to true” with the events that have rocked the nation in Province-2 with the Indian PM Narendra Modi’s arrival in Janakpur recently.
“Note it down for your record, the success of federal order in Nepal will automatically mean the annihilation of Nepal as a sovereign nation-state”, the communist veteran warned his cadres along with the media men present at the district meet of the party in Butwal.
Dangerous bids are afoot to split Terai-Madhesh from the mainland Nepal”, the septuagenarian leader revealed.
He however, which force on earth was behind this Nepal split plan, he did not reveal.
