Nepal: Top priority to education, health and employment generation; Dr. Shekhar Koirala

Biratnagar: For the country’s overall development and prosperity, education, health and employment generation are most important, so said Dr. Shekhar Koirala while addressing his Biratnagar Constituency ( 6) gathering yesterday-Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Dr. Koirala is a senior Nepali Congress party leader and originally hails from Biratnagar.

Dr. Shekhar is one of the strong pillars of the Koirala lineage and was the nephew of late Girija Prasad Koirala.

Dr. Koirala is contesting the upcoming parliamentary polls scheduled for November polls from Biratnagar Constituency.

His nearest political rival is Lal Babu Pandit from the UML party.

Mr. Pandit was a minister in PM K. P. Oli’s cabinet in the recent past.

“My party has taken the issues of health, education and generation of employment in the country seriously and my entire strength as a NC Parliamentarian would be to provide relief to the pressing demands and the needs of the people belonging to the constituency I will represent, said Dr. Koirala who appeared determined to keep the promise he made while addressing his likely voters yesterday.

“ I am also confident that the nation in all likelihood shall have a Nepali Congress government at the center after the parliamentary polls”, a beaming Dr.

Koirala stated.

The Nepali Congress Party is also thinking to provide “free” education to the Nepali students up to class 12 ( twelve) if and when the NC party steers the government after the polls.

“Biratnagar constituency (6) shall be developed as a model area and I am committed to make it a reality”, concluded Dr. Shekhar Koirala.

Other Congressmen also spoke on the occasion.
