In a very surprising and unexpected manner, the minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Sher Bahadur Tamang has resigned obeying to the orders of the Nepal Cabinet Chief, PM KP Oli.
Minister Tamang by tendering his resignation from his post has perhaps, better late than never, tentatively set a precedence which shall hopefully guide other ministers in the future on how to behave with the sentiments of the common people.
Minister Tamang unfortunately a few days back had spoken something which could certainly be categorized as nonsense whose comments on Nepali girl students studying MBBS in foreign countries had sensitized the entire national population in a negative manner.
He was being ridiculed since then in the social media which is perhaps more powerful than any other information outlets.
With the introduction of Face Book each and every person having FB account has almost become a media person in his own right.
Since he spoke which had not to be spoken and that too from the ministerial Chair and thus invited sharp criticisms from the entire countrymen which forced PM Oli to sack minister Tamang for his unwarranted speech that he had made at a Kathmandu gathering a week ago.
The minister, Sher Bahadur Tamang, organizing a press conference Tuesday at his office told the press men that he has tendered his resignation from his current ministerial post.
The Minister while talking with the press appeared to have become sentimental, reports Naya Patrika Daily.
While the minister has apologized for having spoken something nonsense and already paid for that, however, there is yet another person Shri Durga Prasai who also have had made similar comments as regards the girl students studying MBBS in foreign countries more so in Bangladesh, remains yet to ask for an apology from the national population.
Though while talking to some TV Channels Mr. Prasai has expressed that he must not have spoken so but yet his formal apology is yet to come which shall perhaps not come since he is one of the best friends of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his new found friend Pushpa kamal Dahal who spent some good ten years in Delhi during the so called People’s War.
He enjoyed Delhi Government care also while residing in the Indian Capital, it is widely believed.
Mr. Prasai is the single person in Nepal who has the distinction to invite PM Oli and former Maoists Chairman Prachanda over lunch. Long live this friendship.

Mr. Prasai beamingly claims that he have had the honor of inviting several Nepali leaders in the past, the NC men included, over the lunch table.
Mr. Prasai is connected with a Hospital in the Eastern region which perhaps is in dire need for the affiliation from one of the recognized universities of Nepal so that he could run his new venture.
Be that as it may, Minister Tamang by resigning from the post has demonstrated that he has listened to the voices of the common people and that he must not have spoken so to what he spoke that irritated the entire countrymen. Will others follow the suit? Thanks Mr. Tamang.
