NP Upadhyaya:  The stage is set. Something unwarranted and unthought-of is likely to happen and this time not only the 12 point agreement but some hundred point agreements have to be compulsorily signed by Nepal in order to suit to the taste of the Indian establishment and the ruse would be as usual “With love from India in order to bring political stability and prosperity in Nepal” as PM Oli had announced at time of the last poll. Dangerous signals.

The initiative to this effect has already been taken and that too “defeat Nepal campaign” shall begin right from Kathmandu itself. And here we the people of Nepal shall witness our own annihilation.

The first, referring to the last one of 2005-6, Indian love to Nepal had come through the kind courtesy of Shyam Saran which damaged Nepal as much as it could and now the second consignment of Love from India has approached Kathmandu through the BJP street functionary. Some Nepali nationals, close to Mirjaffors, too had assisted Mr. Saran in his destroy Nepal mission taken up then.

Very freshly the unsolicited Messiah of Nepal-India relations had landed in Kathmandu and made some lectures that appear more likely as an act to gulp Nepal ultimately.

Neither peace nor friendship the treaty yielded.

Ram Madhav exactly on this date, July 31, 2018, in Kathmandu sounded his government’s decision to Nepal and that being “Look South Nepal” in no uncertain terms.
Mr. Madhav’s courage must be appreciated in that he being a minor Indian BJP’s functionary landed in Kathmandu and sounded Nepal to obey to the Indian dictates or else things may be different that may include, possibly a “regime change”.

India can go to any extent, we have experience such as the one of 2005-6. Just recall.

Increasing clout of the Communists have irked the Indian regime. And back home, the Nepali Congress is heating the streets under this or the other pretexts. The real king that he was has secretly landed in Thailand apparently to have secret talks with the RAW men in Bangkok.

Former King Gyanendra has met with the RAW men several times in the past and even invited them at a dinner in Nirmal Nivas sometime in the distant past, say high placed sources.
As is usual, the dangerous platform was provided by the Nepali side which allowed the Indian national under the garb of so called “think tank” meet of the two countries wherein he almost threatened Nepal to Look South. In Nepal, South means India and the North obviously is China.

Not very surprising that the event took place in Kathmandu and went smoothly as the Chief Guest was none less than Nepal’s Prachanda-the honorable revolutionary of the Maoists era who have had the distinction of residing some good nine years out of ten in New Delhi whose sponsored tenure in the alien land was mysterious one.

Ram Madhav’s “Look South” dictation to Nepal through Prachanda and through him to the entire Nepali population bodes not only ill for the overall health of Nepali politics but also poses a threat to its integrity and sovereignty, if at all that remains intact as of now.

In fact Ram Madhav is not at fault in that he did his job assigned to him with proper finesse. He is just the carrier of the Indian message to Nepal through a well-timed seminar.
The message primarily if for Nepal and then to China as well.

The political hint is Look South but not the North in which the underlying message is keep a comfortable distance with the Chinese regime. “All what Nepal needs shall be awarded by the regime in the South”, is what is the inner message perhaps.

“Do not fall into the Chinese Debt Trap”, also is the message.

Yet another design would be to hint Nepal not to ask for any change in the unequal treaty of 1950. The EPG is a damp Squibb.

Nepali people think that PM Oli in all his honesty now has been steering the nation in a balanced manner as far as Nepal-India relations is concerned.

But now observers have reasons to suspect the very political credentials of our own Prime Minister because how could without Oli’s knowledge Mr. Prachanda would have accepted to be the chief guest of the think tank seminar? Let’s not forget that Prachanda is half Prime Minister of Nepal at the moment.

This reminds us all of the fresh summoning of the Indian Ambassadors of the South Asian region to Delhi by Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj wherein she tentatively had ordered her subordinate diplomats to act as she says.

News reports appearing in the social media and the internet said then that “India will adopt a broad, three-pronged approach to deal with China’s increasing engagement in the South Asian and Indian Ocean neighborhood, track Beijing’s activities carefully; pursue its own projects and commitments; and educate and advise neighbors on the consequences of engaging with China.

So India will educate Nepal and other countries in this part of the world? Joke of the week indeed. Educating Nepal has already begun and now it is turn of Bangladesh and then to Sri Lanka perhaps.

Reports say that during the meet, Minister Swaraj laid out the approach at a meeting with top diplomats posted in the neighborhood. This means that the Indian diplomats will have to act like a spy whose main job would be to carefully eye on the Chinese activities in the South Asian nations.

To talk all the nonsense against China is what was her mission. Ambassador Puri had already been spying. Isn’t?

In fact Sushma Swaraj was telling her ministry-subordinates that the Indian envoys should brain wash the leaders of the host countries in such a way that they (the students) begin feeling that asking for Chinese assistance was almost a crime in that such assistances originating from China were ultimately the shortest route to the “debt trap or for that matter financial breakdown” from which an easy escape was almost remote if not impossible. The idea is to use the education part as a psychological terror.

The act which even Pundit Nehru and Indira Gandhi could not accomplish is being smoothly finalized by Indian BJP under the leader ship of Chaiwala as the Maharastrian leader Mallikarjun had said of PM Modi.

Speaking as the Chief Guest Chairman Prachanda said that initiative of executing all bilateral agreements and understandings between Nepal and India have generated a new wave of enthusiasm in Nepal.

All guff.

And here was Delhi’s point man through whom the Indian BJP prefers to scold the Nepal government under KP Oli.

PM Oli’s nationalist credentials also stands exposed.

Oli can’t hide this fact. Great betrayal to China?

Delivering the key note address at the “timed seminar”, Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary and Director of India Foundation, Ram Madhav said that India is committed to support Nepalese Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli’s ambitious development agenda.

India and support never go together. Indeed India and economic blockades go together.

Mr. Madhav also said that oceans play a very important role in the development of nations and Nepal can think of adopting ‘Look South’ policy to access most happening region of Indian Ocean.

The summit was jointly organized by the Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs and Nehru Memorial Museum Library. The participants including think tanks, policy makers, diplomats, academicians, businesspersons and journalists deliberated on the Indo-Nepal ties and its dimensions in different sessions.

The BJP government has created a scene in Assam.

On 30 July 2018, the Assam government issued a list which excluded more than four million people, who India now categorizes as ‘illegal immigrants’. Since the BJP party has gained popularity in the Indian National Assembly, systematic prejudice, racism and radical Hindu religiosity has become prevalent in laws and policies.
Entire South Asia is scared of this Indian BJP cruel machine.

Very interestingly the Colombo telegraph published an article by Rajeewa Jayaweera titled “ Indian Notions of its Sri Lanka Involvement” wherein the writer end up his write up by saying, “
