N. P Upadhyaya, Kathmandu: The United Arab Emirate princess Sheikha Hend Faisal Al Qassimi was bit late in expressing her logical angst against the Indian government led by the declared Muslim hater Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi.
If she were so sensitive towards the plight of the Indian Muslims then the Princess should have halted the award decoration ceremony of the Indian Prime Minister Modi when the UAE Royals unfortunately decided to confer the prestigious award to a Prime Minister who had a dirty and ugly track record of the Muslim hatred which Modi had proved when he was the Chief Minister of Gujrat.
The decision though was an internal matter of the UAE Royals.
Narendra Modi, the present day Prime Minister of India is held responsible for the ghastly Godhra incident wherein he reportedly remained instrumental in the merciless killing(s) of the Muslims.
It was a massacre of sort in Gujrat talked to have been engineered meticulously by the then sitting Hindu Chief Minister Modi himself.
To recall, PM Modi was barred from the entry into the US over his key role in the 2002 Gujarat riots that killed over 1,000 Muslims.
His supporters today dub the C-virus as “corona jihad” and spread the false allegation that the pandemic is a conspiracy by Muslims to infect and poison the Hindus of the Hindu Rastra-nation that is India.
Her Royal Highness Sheikha Hend Faisal Al Qassimi perhaps have had heard of the Godhara massacre in India, 2002, but yet may have beamingly witnessed the grand ceremony last year held on August 24/2020 when PM Modi was honored with the award of the ‘Order of Zayed medal’-the UAE’s highest civilian award as a mark of appreciation for his (Modi’s) efforts to boost bilateral ties between the two nations.
In a tweet made in April 2019, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had pleasingly said, “We have historical and comprehensive strategic ties with India, reinforced by the pivotal role of my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gave these relations a big boost.”
Is PM Modi so dear to the UAE Royals even as of today?
Should then we conclude that the news of the Godhara mass killing of the Indian Muslims, 2002, had not approached the United Arab Emirates and its leaders?
The continued hatred of the Indian Muslims by the Hindu fascist government (as per author Arundhati Roy) was not in knowledge of the UAE establishment through its diplomatic mission based in New Delhi?
If so then the UAE diplomats based in Delhi have been cheating their own government back in their home country that is UAE.
Princess Hend kept mum even when the Muslims were beaten and later mercilessly killed in February 2020 in various Indian cities and towns and also when the followers of Islam came to the streets to protest against the newly enacted Citizenship rules and regulations.
Now all of a sudden love for the persecuted Indian Muslims has erupted in the heart of the Princess Hend who has become vocal these days and has been voicing her serious concerns on the predicament of the Indian Muslims through different media outlets.
Her concerns are logical though but yet observers in Nepal opine that the UAE Princess should have talked about the persecution of the Indian Muslims at the opportune time when these unfortunate followers of Islam were being humiliatingly mistreated inside the Indian Union.
Better late than never, the Princess has spoken and has replied in a strong manner to one Saurabh Upadhyay, an Indian national working in the UAE who spits venom on Indian Muslims through his Tweeter accounts dated April 15/2020. He says, (sic) “ Muslims must stop finding ways to defend tabligis, the damage has already been done the least you can do is accept and condemn it, no hindu supports a criminal like asharam, similarly you should also stop licking the terrorist maulana saads bottom”.
In yet another tweet Saurabha Upadhyay says, “What’s with peaceful people and spitting? New form of jiihad custom for 2020? Though they were still stuck 1400 years in past and dint believe in progressing or changing the words spoken”.
As if the previous two insulting tweets for the Indian Muslims were not enough to bring down his anger to a comfortable level, Mr. Upadhyay vomits and then records by saying that “ Death to radical Islamic tabligis the terrorists and other radical Islamic sons of satan ja ukhad le bc jo ukhadega….”
And now the Princess Hend speaks and she says, “Anyone that is openly racist and discriminatory in the UAE will be fined and made to leave”.
She also reminded the India’s Muslim haters based in the UAE on April 20/2020, like Saurabha Upadhyay, that such hate-tweets from the UAE soil shall not be taken in good taste and that penal actions may be taken if deemed necessary.
This tweet of the UAE Princess in all likelihood must have made Saurabh Upadhyay and the likes of him to tremble and surprisingly since then he has preferred to go on for a voluntary hibernation for fear of being imprisoned by the Dubai police. Nobody knows where this Muslim hater Indian Brahmin is at the moment. However, the Dubai Police is in knowledge of the whereabouts of S. Upadhyay. He is at best hiding or already may have landed in the dark cells of Dubai, Sarjah or Abu Dhabi.
Now let us take up the story of yet another fanatic Hindu lady Mrs. Preeti Giri who excessively loves-to-hate the Muslims in India and by extension the Muslims of the entire world.
Ms. Giri is unreasonably close to PM Modi and currently is the Executive Director at the H.E Suhail Mohd Al Zarron Marketing Management LLC Dubai.
She wrote in her tweets, “Bhole Bhale Hindus will not know that Bollywood actor Aaamir Khan belongs to Tabligi jamaat, let me tell you that Tabligi is SUNNI Hanafi ideology which has 99% Deobandi”.
Presumably quite irritated by Preeti’s hate-Tweet, one UAE lady NOORA AlGhurair fires at Preeti Giri and states albeit through her Tweeter handle that, “so as per your hateful logic SUNNIS by association are terrorists’ becos of the propaganda against Muslims in India? Do U know the country you living all rulers are SUNNI?
U want to boycott us?”
Unnerved by Noora’s Tweet which she tagged to the Dubai police, hate monger Preeti has gone underground for fear of being deported or imprisoned in UAE jails for all time to come.
Notably, the Dubai police officers were all from the Sunni cult.
To avoid imprisonment in the UAE dark cells, Preeti in haste apologizes April 17/2020, not only with Noora but with the UAE state by saying, “I respect the UAE leadership from the core of my heart and have been always supportive to every possible cause of the country. Once again repeating, there is no slightest of such intention of any hatred”.
Though Lady Noora AlGhurair was able to terrify the Hindus residing in UAE who hate Indian Muslims to the core but yet she failed in upholding the prestige of the entire Muslim world, political pundits in Nepal opine.
Noora would have done justice with Islam as a religion had she referred not only of the Sunnis but also talked have of the Shia sect in her reply Tweet to Preeti Giri.
She did injustice to the Shia Muslims. This divides and then weakens the Muslims worldwide.
It is this dangerous psychology among the followers of Islam that makes it a community with fractured unity. No wonder then the Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC) is an alienated group. It is not a compact cluster which allows Hindutva dominated countries’ like India to play foul with the Muslim countries.
Yet once again Noora AlGhurair in her tweet dated April 25/2020 asks “What if discrimination has become the DNA of a nation? Its leaders; its administration; its forces; its media, its hospitals; its people at large? How do you deal with that?
Needless to say the Tweet is directed towards the Indian government’s visible hatred for the Muslims.
Nepal being a majority Hindu country is an exception. In Nepal, the Muslims celebrate Hindu festivals and vice versa. No conflict of religion as such have been witnessed so far in Nepal.
The UAE prior to awarding the highest civilian honor to the merciless and obsessive Hindu fundamentalist Prime Minister of India should have studied Modi’s upbringing from the very beginning of his modest life that began with his association with the Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) which is a radical Hindu organization whose primary aim is to demonize Islam and glorify the Hindus and Hindutva.
The Pakistani compulsions could be easily understood on how the country may have adjusted with India as an immediate neighbor. India is regional Goliath for the smaller countries of South Asia including obviously Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Pakistani pain thus can be easily grasped. The Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan once rightly said of the Indian PM Modi that he was a small man in high office.
And so believes the former Military General of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf of the Indian Prime Minister Modi.
In Nepal Modi is taken as a big South Asian fraud.
The OIC/IPHRC (Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission) issued a very weak statement on April 19/2020 urging the Indian Government to take urgent steps to stop the growing tide of Islamophobia in India and protect the right of its persecuted Muslims minority as per its obligations under HR Laws.
The OIC rights body called on New Delhi to protect the country’s nearly 200 million Muslims from Islamophobic campaigns.
The Indian government led by Modi was quick enough to rebuke the OIC/IPHRC statement by saying that it was “factually incorrect”, writes Rekha Dixit April 23/2020 for The WEEK.
The Indian government sources say the allegations hurled by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that Muslims in India are facing harassment at a time the country is fighting coronavirus are factually inaccurate and totally misleading, reports The Indian Express dated April 24/2020.
India has instead urged the OIC grouping not to try to “communalize” the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
To recall, the OIC is an influential grouping consisting of 57 member states with a collective population of over 1.8 billion.
However, the OIC has yet to dismiss the Indian rebuttal as of now. This is the OIC’s visible weakness which hints that the grouping is a divided/cracked association.
Could be the eyeing of the big Indian market for commercials benefits.
In the meantime, Kuwait has appealed to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to tackle the growing anti-Muslim sentiment in India.
In a statement issued 27 April, the General Secretariat of the Kuwait Council of Ministers expressed its “deep concern” regarding Islamophobia in the Hindu-majority country, currently governed under the ruling far-right BJP, and urged the OIC to take “necessary and urgent measures”, reports the MEMO ( The Middle East Monitor) dated 28 April.

The Middle East Monitor further reports that the Kuwaiti call for action were similar to those made just the other day by a minister in Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Abdullah Al-Shoreka, who took to Twitter condemning the mistreatment of Muslims in India.
“Did those who commit crimes against humanity against Muslims in India and violate their rights think that Muslims in the world will remain silent about these crimes and do not move politically, legally and economically against them?” Abdullah Al-Shoreka said.
Is he serious?
Possibly, the Saudis and a host of other Muslim countries, for example Qatar, Oman in the Gulf may differ with what the Kuwaitis and the UAE say of the Islamophobia in India.
And this is what has made the Muslim countries weaker. Conflict of commercial interests more often than not mar the overall Muslim interests.
However, not all is lost in the Muslim world. The Muslim governments may possess soft corner for the radical Hindu Rastra India (as India’s radical Hindu leader Dr. Subramanyam Swamy prefers to take his country openly) for a variety of commercial reasons, but yet at the very people’s level India is no longer a sweet-heart country for the academicians/scholars in the Gulf countries. And here is one who opposes Hindu India tooth and nail: Sheikh Abidi Zahrani who has responded to the Indian hostility and has urged the governments in the Middle East, especially the Gulf, to “clamp down on anyone showing sympathy with extremist Hindu ideology.

Question here could be asked as to why the UAE Princess exploded against India’s Muslim haters residing in Dubai? Is she speaking on behalf of UAE government? Why the UAE government is not speaking anything on a burning issue that the Princess has taken up in her Tweets? Is it that the UAE just wants to remain in the good book of the Indian Prime Minister due to the award the nation bestowed on PM Modi last year August? Has the Princess retaliated through her Tweets on her personal basis or what?
And what is her present status in the UAE’s existing political system? These questions need answers. Earlier the better. That’s all.
