Grand welcome awaits Nepal PM in China: India already in Panic

Nepal-China relations are sure to take a new height this time around when Nepal PM Oli will land in Beijing. The date has been tentatively fixed for June 19 this month but yet remains to be announced by both the friendly countries through their appropriate channels.
PM Oli is not a new political personality for Beijing. China extended its all-out support to PM OLi at the time when Nepal was strangulated by the Economic Blockade imposed by Chaia wala Modi’s India in 2015.
The blockade lasted for six months plus.
Nepali people thank China for the support extended then. A friend in need is friend indeed.
Oli’s political stature has suddenly increased back home and thus beyond the borders too after the Maoists Center also preferred to assimilate itself into the mainstream UML party-a communist paraphernalia to which it is not for all the practical purposes and the characteristics needed to be taken as a communist worth the name.
Yet it has a communist tag and Beijing likes such identifier, hopefully.
PM Oli is all set to land in the country once guided by Chairman Mao and paramount leader Deng who, honestly speaking, always suggested Nepali rulers, mostly the Kings and the Prime Ministers of Nepal, to remain ever in close contacts with the Southern neighbor for reasons unknown.
Son of late BP Koirala, Prakash Koirala opines that Chinese top hats do not trust Nepali leaders. Perhaps China thinks that the Nepali leaders may pass on their secret talks even to the South time permitting. Perhaps it is this anxiety that China fears to talk openly with Nepali leaders, it is widely believed in Nepal.
China is in knowledge of the RAW’s deep penetration into Nepal’s internal affairs.
So is the vibrant media perhaps.
However, If China had understood the Nepali compulsions from the very beginning, then we have India in the South which always takes China as its number one enemy. Inferiority complex that it is. Jealousy thy name is India.
The news that Nepal PM Oli is going to China may have increased the Blood Pressure of many in the South who take Nepal as a protectorate a la Baby Bhutan.
Just recall how the Indian lady in government took Nepal’s nationalist Janakpur population just the other day?
PM Modi awaits several sleepless nights after June 19, it is hoped in Nepal. So be it.
Oli, the Nepali PM awaits finalization of several agreements that he had inked during his last visit to Beijing in 2015, say after the 2015 earthquake that had rocked Nepal.
While India was having sadistic pleasure in seeing Nepal in great pains, then China came forward to help this India tortured country. Admit this fact, if you can.

As the high placed sources say, proposals relating to the construction of trans-border rail way links, building of several petroleum storage reservoirs, construction, maintenance and installing of transmission lines and also the construction of dry ports, generation of Hydroelectricity power projects, are being finalized to be forwarded in Beijing from the Nepali side for the perusal of the host country-China.
Some other sources claim that Nepal is also forwarding a special request to China for the establishment of emergency rescue centers in all the seven provinces of the country.
Our own sources have hinted that there are fair chances that Nepal-China may sign a Free Trade Agreement that may facilitate the two way trade in between the two countries.
To begin with, the three petroleum products reservoir tanks construction sites in Nepal have already been finalized. They are Battar, Champi, and Khainitar in Nuwakot, Lalitpur and Tanahu districts respectively.
“The focus would surely be on the implementation of the past agreements inked with China by PM Oli during his last trip to Beijing” said a beaming Bishnu Rimal, the PM’s Chief adviser say news agencies.
China may also may be pleased for the up gradation of the Arniko high way.
Nepal PM Oli would personally appeal to the Chinese President Xi Jin Ping for linking as much as of the Nepali districts with Tibet that adjoins Nepal-China borders across the length and breadth of the country.
If China come forward in this regard, then that would be a substantial help which shall lessen Nepal’s over dependency on the Goliath.
Some Chinese high officials are currently in town to finalize the preparations of Nepal PM Oli’s visit to China and the proposals that may be put on the negotiating table for likely agreements between the two countries.
Mr. Wu Jianghao, a senior Chinese official who is in town is learnt to have extended invitation to Prachanda to visit Beijing.
Prachanda has spent some good years in New Delhi as Chairman of the Nepal Maoists Party, to recall.
In a way, PM Oli shall prefer greater connectivity in between the two countries through the one belt One Road Chinese initiative. Nepal is a signatory to the OBOR initiative.
There are also talks that Nepal may be granted Kerung-Kathmandu rail links free of cost as a token of love and respect to the people of Nepal from the Chinese government side.
The Climax: President Xi Jin Ping has tentatively made up his mind to drop in Nepal since Nepal has a very strong government and that too having a communist identifier.
China should think on the prevalence of China Nepal Economic Corridor a la CPEC.
Yet the question could be asked as to why China should trust Nepal PM Oli recalling the latter’s submission when Indian PM Modi was in Nepal?
