Modi prefers a Nepal visit, Angry Sikhs insult Indian flag in UK

Kathmandu: The Indian Prime Minister has been the witness of two important and significant events, both insulting ones indeed in their own ways that has something to do with the Republic of India, born 1947 which was a former British Colony, if one were to recall.

The first one is that he along with his common wealth colleagues have had to listen to the not so tasty but yet commanding lecture of the British Queen Elisabeth who while making a lecture to her subject-nations ordered that henceforth her heir apparent, Prince Charles, should be honored and respected in the same manner as she herself has been receiving from the common wealth conglomerate-the British subjects of the not so distant past.

This means that the longest serving British Queen is soon to retire and is in a determined mood to handover the Royal power vested in Her to son Prince Charles.

Since the order has come from their queen and thus there is no question to go against her solo decision. But when the Queen is to retire from the British throne, she, however, did not reveal. And why should she reveal when it is a matter related to her duty-bound subjects?

The second event that must have jolted the Indian Hindu fundamentalist Prime Minister, Narendar Bhai Modi, is the Sikh community based in London going berserk to the extent that the Sons of brave Sardars, as the Sikhs prefer to call themselves, tore apart the tri color, the Indian Flag, the other day when Indian PM Narendar Bhai Modi himself was in London.

Modi must have got the point that the Sinkhs have yet not forgotten the INJUSTICE of the 1984 massacre in Delhi and in the areas wherein the Sikhs reside across the vast Indian nation.

Since then the brave Sikhs have been forced to take shelters or say asylums, abroad for fear of being once again attacked by the domestic hoodlums.

It is these Sikhs who left Indian union then who have now been residing in the United Kingdom and in some other countries , like Canada and Australia and also in the United States of America, and the fresh tearing apart of the Indian flag does speak volumes that this brave community has yet to forget the calamity brought upon them while being in India during 1984 “manufactured” riots and perhaps it was time that this community must teach a lesson to the Indian republic which caused their community a life time wound.

It was this retaliation being expressed by the local Sikh community in London the other day coinciding with the presence of the Indian PM Modi.

Khalistan is the name of the movement that the Sikhs champion and advocate.

The Khalistan movement is a Sikh nationalist movement that wants to create an independent state of the Sikh population indeed by waging a peaceful struggle inside the current North-Western Republic of India. Such a State existed in Punjab from 1709 to 1849. Their King was Raja Ranjeet Singh.

Old records say that the King of Punjab have had great honor and regards for the Gorkha soldiers.

Now come to the point.

News that the India’s blockade expert, PM Narendra Modi, is all set to visit Nepal in the third week of next month has terrified the Nepali nationalists who question the very intention of the Nepal PM KPS Oli who must have invited his Indian counterpart.

If so then PM Oli is mistaken in that PM Modi can never be a good and reliable friend of Nepal which the people here have not only seen but experienced as well.

The six months long economic blockade spoke of it all.

Whatever may have been the motive of PM Oli in inviting his Indian counterpart, but yet what could be safely said that for the honest, simple and modest Nepali population, PM Modi is a clever and cunning man who could not be trusted any more as his real political credentials have already come to the open when he imposed a callous economic blockade on Nepal in the year 2015. Since then MODI is taken as the most unwanted guest for Nepal which perhaps still prevails in the minds of the domestic population.

PM Modi perhaps is here to explore as to how one more blockade could be imposed on Nepal in order to teach a lesson to Nepal on why this Himalayan nation prefers China over India.

All in all, Modi’s Nepal visit bodes ill for Nepal for his trip may damage the prospects of the impending visit of the Chinese President who is also set to make a short whirl wind tour to this Himalayan nation any time within the year 2018.

Sources say that PM Modi himself fixed his Nepal visit without consulting the concerned Nepal officials. Although it remains yet to be substantiated.

Telegraph adds: High placed sources say that PM Oli is in a fix on whether he should make China visit first or should allow his own appointment to take place immediately after Modi’s Beijing trip? Of late China and India have come closer in a dramatic manner which perhaps bodes well for the entire South Asia.

China talks these days of giving the trilateral cooperation, Nepal, India and China, a chance. This speaks of the subtle Chinese diplomacy.
