Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad, Pakistan had participated in the MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Charity Bazar, held Saturday, November 27, 2021, in Islamabad.
In the Bazar, says a press release issued by the Nepal embassy in Islamabad, the embassy had a stall where it displayed Nepal’s traditional products, curio items and tourism products.
The embassy, adds the press release, also participated in the food festival of Bazar where Momo was served.
Momo is very popular in Nepal.
The chief guest of the event, first lady, Mrs. Samina Alvi, wife of President of Pakistan His Excellency Arif Alvi and other dignitaries had visited the Nepali stall and enquired about the products of Nepal.
The Nepal Ambassador briefed the distinguished guest.
According to Nepal embassy, large number embassies in Islamabad, tourism entrepreneurs, hotels and other business ventures had their stalls in the bazar.
Similarly, the visitor at the Nepal pavilion exhibited their great interest on the Nepali products and also inquired about Nepali culture and traditions.
A large number of Pakistani and foreign nationals had visited the Nepali stall in the bazar, adds the Nepal embassy press note sent to the telegraphnepal.com in Kathmandu on November 29, 2021.
