Nepal: Japanese Language Speech Contest held

Biratnagar: The 42nd Japanese Language Speech Contest was held by the Japanese Language Teachers’ Association, Nepal (Jaltan) in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, March 18, 2023.

A total of 23 participants delivered imposing speeches in Japanese on a wide range of topics, including Nepali and Japanese proverbs, gender diversity and what have been learnt from the experience after the Gorkha earthquake-2015.

The Ambassador of Japan in Nepal Kikuta congratulated JALTAN on its 25th anniversary in 2023.

He also encouraged the participants to further their Japanese language studies by advising them that repeated practice in communicating their thoughts aloud in public is the best way to learn a language.
