Nepal: Japanese Speech Contest (JALSAN) resumed after three years

Biratnagar: On February 11, the 8th Japanese Language Speech Contest was held by JALSAN, Japanese Language School Association of Nepal in which 15 students expressed their thoughts in Japanese.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Japan in Nepal, Kikuta welcomed the resumption of the speech contest after three years and paid tribute to the efforts of all participants and Japanese language school teachers.

The Ambassador of Japan also recognized JALSAN for not only teaching Japanese, but also providing opportunities for students to learn about Japanese culture and customs through cherry blossom planting and Japanese food events.
