Nepal: Pakistan supports Bharatpur Eye Hospital with an Ambulance

Kathmandu: The Pakistan Embassy in Nepal has handed over a newly constructed building of the Bharatpur Eye Hospital along with an ambulance, March 01, 2024, say Pakistan Embassy sources.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Shri Abrar H Hashmi, said that the ‘Ghulam Ishaq Khan Eye Operation Theater and ambulance have been gifted by Pakistan to Nepal.
Ambassador Hashmi handed over the Pakistani gift to the chairman of the hospital management.

Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal aka Prachanda, who inaugurated the newly constructed building, extended thanks to the Pakistani government for its support.

On the occasion, the Pakistan Ambassador Hashmi expressed his pleasure through his X account (Twitter “Honored handing over a gift from the People of Pakistan–Ghulam Ishaq Khan Eye Operation Theater and key of ambulance–to the Chairman of the Bharatpur Eye Hospital today—a sign of abiding friendship.”
The Bharatpur Eye Hospital was established with the support from friendly neighbor Pakistan.
