Kathmandu, September 8, 2022: The Pakistan embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal hosted a welcome programme for the visiting Pakistan’s Women Football Team.

The Pakistani team is here in Kathmandu to participate in the SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 being held in Kathmandu from 06 to 19 September 2022, say Pakistan embassy sources.

H.E. Syed Haider Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan along with the Officers of the Embassy greeted the Pakistani Women’s Team and conveyed best wishes to the team members for the tournament.

Pakistan is Nepal’s neighbor and a distinguished member of the SAARC regional body.

Observers in Nepal believe that the SAARC regional body has been purposely killed by the Indian Prime Minister in order to isolate Pakistan.

To recall, India in the past too had tried its best to isolate Pakistan when it designed the scheme of a Quadrangle well within the SAARC regional body.

The India designed Quadrangle comprised of Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and India itself.

However, with the profound diplomatic acumen and wisdom, the then Sri Lankan Foreign Minister (late) Laxman Kadirgamer (a Tamil himself) who’s behind the scene efforts the immediate collapse of the SAARC body was averted.

The Sri Lankan Foreign Minister was a pillar of the SAARC regional body, now killed by the Indian Prime Minister of India Modi.
