3 die, 4 disappear in Nepal landslides

Early morning landslide took toll of four lives, July 31, 2009 in the district of Tanahau, Nepal. The incident took place in the Kinhu VDC.

The dead bodies of Babita Rasali (28) and her two daughters Arati (6) and Amrita (5) were recovered by the locals.

Similarly, four people disappeared in the district of Syanja due to the landslide after torrential rain for 12 hours in the area.

The incident took place in the Dunne VDC, Friday July 31, 2009.
