Koirala to Prachanda: Do not irritate Nepal President

TGW

Few hours after the Maoists’ party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda threatened revolt talking to journalists in the district of Banke, on Monday August 24, 2009, he met Girija Prasad Koirala at the Koirala residence in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu and urged the Nepali Congress President to support his party amicably settle the issue of Resolution Proposal submitted at the Constituent Assembly.

Chairman Dahal had told the journalists that if the party was not allowed to debate the unconstitutional move of the President to restore Rukmangad Katawal as the Army Chief, the party will have no option left than to declare a revolt.

Nevertheless, in Kathmandu talking to Koirala, Prachanda requested the Nepali Congress President to help him amicably settle the contentious issue.

And, Prachanda also assured Koirala of his full support for the formation of the High Level Government Steering Body.

The two leaders concluded that the delay in formation of such a high level body, will in turn affect the peace process, delay the constitution drafting process and that the current political deadlock will also prolong.

Koirala opined that a joint meeting was already due between the Nepali Congress, UML and the Maoists representatives. Prachanda accepted his proposal.

Koirala also urged the Maoists’ Chairman not to go in for a direct confrontation with the President. He claimed that the Nepal Army could come forward if the President was attacked.

Prachanda finally requested Koirala to allow the Maoists’ party lead the Constitution Drafting Committee.

People will continue supporting Prachanda for his democratic and logical argument.

It's time to accept that Prachanda is the rightful head of state. There can be no more pretending that the corrupt political class, with a so-called "Prime Minister" who lost his own district in Katmandu, have no right to govern Nepal and that the former Royal Nepal Army accept Prachanda as the uncontested head of state and commander in chief of the national armed forces. Democracy is coming to Nepal thanks to the brave struggle of patriots and heroes. Let it be a thing of beauty, not scarred in birth by the pride of the formerly privileged. A people's republic doesn't need a king's army.

Koirala thinks his family are the new monarchy, he will not work, or discuss with any other group. Revolt is unavoidable unless this deluded man is removed from power. The Maoists are tired of war, but they will not accept the rule of an unelected antiquated fool.

Nepal ko bhagya bidhata haru ko kalo itihas le inko buddhi pani kalo bhayo? .Weren’t the root cause of terrorism in India were Gandhi and Nehru? Why India started war with Pakistan in Kashmir? Gandhi gave a good amount of money to Pakistan as a reward for the massive scale genocide of Punjabis, Bengalese, Sindhies and Gujraties and also to meet the war expenses in Kashmir. He vehemently opposed war with Pakistan. It was Sardar Patel who disobeyed Gandhi and made entire Pakistan army to surrender. Nehru jumped in favor of Pakistan, created a line of actual control and took that case to UN,Patel met his death, why?

Now the only hope is the Maoists will finally learn that it was India that gave them the Championship medal and it is India alone that will kick them out of the tournament... our industries, schools, hospitals are closing down... and someday we will buy everything from India( its already 90%), we will all go to Schools in India and probably die in an Indian Hospital because there won't ebe anything left in Nepal except the rich fat Maoists and the 30 million starving gulag-interned citizens!

Koirala you old - you betrayed the King and brought this "tinpot" republic into being. It's time for you to keep silence.

Political polarization is not there as yet. To remind you, the Maoists have come only after a people’s war but not the rest of the political parties. It could be this factor which may have brought or to come to surface certain differences with the Maoists over some political issues. More..
