Nepal UML in Sheer Crisis: Khanal hints action against Oli

TGW

The Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party-United Marxist Leninists, Mr. Jhala Nath Khanal has warned action against those party leaders and cadres who do not abide by the party’s discipline.

Mr. Khanal’s remarks are, presumably, aimed against the party influential leader Mr. K. P. Sharma Oli and his cadres.

“The party will take stringent actions against those leaders and cadres who ignore the party discipline and organize press meets and unnecessarily criticize the party”, said Khanal addressing a program in the capital, Thursday August 27, 2009.

“The party will not accept in disciplinary acts in the name of exercising democratic rights”, added Khanal.

“No matter what is the stature of the leader, the party will penalize them come what may”, Khanal also declared.

The UML steering committee had recently dissolved the UML Kathmandu district committee which had the majority of the K.P. Oli faction.

The dissolved Kathmandu District committee is organizing a meeting, Saturday August 29, 2009. The meeting will be chaired by Mr. K. P. Sharma Oli.

The UML’s two “lobbies” affiliated to the two alien countries are about to fight.

Great entertainment is round the corner.

Good, one side will mix with the Maoists and the other with NC. The tri-polar Nepali politics will come to a point of bipolar with NC and UCPN. It would be better for Nepal as the tripolar junction of Monarchy,Political Parties and Maoists came to an end. It will be better for Nepal if this happens.
