Fresh Nepal revolt may take toll of One Million: Prachanda

TGW

The Constituent Assembly and the Peace Process are the offspring of the decade long revolt undertaken by the Maoists’ Party, said Pushpa Kamal Dahal-the Unified Maoists' Party Chairman adding, if the constitution drafting process and the peace process were blocked, there will be yet another fierce revolt.

“If there is another revolt at least one million people may lose their precious lives”, Dahal said.

“We need to be very careful at this juncture, to stop the casualties”, he opined.

Dahal was also of the opinion that people want peace not war however, there is the limit to everything, people go at war when their limit of tolerance is broken.

“When the people revolt they obliterate everything”, he added.

If the mandate of the CA election is further ridiculed we will declare war”, said Dahal concluding that “this time the war will be a peaceful one”.

Dahal was making such threatening remarks at a book launching ceremony in Kathmandu, September 5, 2009.

We have read tha news that terrorist Prachanda has said that maoist will kill 10,0000 (one milion innocent nepali people) if revolt breaks out. This news bring that nepal army must get ready with huge arms and weapons in the nepal army barracks just for incse to kill all nepal maoist leaders. If we nepali people will kill all 240 CA maoist-terrorist leaders in nepal, then this maoist will be wiped out soon. nepal army and Indian army must work together to kill all maoist top leaders beofre they launch the terrorist revolt. Prachanda must be shot to death immeduately now and because he said that maoist will kill Ten ljakhs nepali janta, why not kill him now? nepal army chief, mr. Chatraman Gurung and mr. katuwal need to work together to defead the manoist and nepala rmy must bring highly explosive bombs, weapons, ammo to put stand by just for incase to use gainst the maoist. If revolts break out, nepal army must be able to fire gunships fire(weapons fire from helicopter), and this would be more effective to use against the maoist revolt. we all nepali people must be united to kill all these terrorist in nepal and parchanda's threat must be wiped out now. nepal defence miniter must talk to the Indian counterparts to enter the plenty of highly explosive bombs to use againt the terrorist maoist if they start illegal revolt in nepal and this terrorist revolt is unaceptable for nepali people. nepal army must be stand by from now on with sophisticated weapons.

So the Maoists demand 'civilian supremacy' - by threatening war! They want a monopoly on backing up political demands with threat of force. But other competing powers in society will never allow this - integration of PLA into NA will never happen on this basis. Maoists are painting themselves into a corner - all these threats are only revealing their growing weakness.

Five questions

alt No design to corner Maoists
Pashupati Shumser Rana , Chairman, Rastriya Prajatantra Party
Political polarization is not there as yet. To remind you, the Maoists have come only after a people’s war but not the rest of the political parties. It could be this factor which may have brought or to come to surface certain differences with the Maoists over some political issues. More..
