No Compromise with Nepal Maoists: Jr. Koirala

Sushil Koirala, the acting president of the Nepali Congress party has ridiculed any possibility that the NC and UML would once again surrender to the Maoists’ illegitimate demands over correcting the steps of the President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav was concerned.

“No matter what is the end result, we will not yield to the Maoist illogical demands”, said the old bachelor addressing the last funeral rites of one of the NC leaders in the district of Chitwan.

“We will not compromise with the Maoists under any circumstances”, he reiterated talking to the local journalists.

“The Maoists’ unwavering stance over the issue of the President has pushed the country to uncertainty”, he continued adding, “The Nepali Congress and the United Marxist Leninists would never accept that the President has done anything wrong.”

“Rather, President Yadav prevented the Maoist’s bid of capturing the state”, he opined.

He also revealed that the government could approve the budget through ordinance if the Maoists continue to block the parliamentary proceeding further.

“The Maoists can’t just stop the country from moving ahead”, he told the journalists.

Junior Koirala also revealed that there was no difference in the NC party and refuted the media reports that President Girija Prasad Koirala was trying to postpone the mahasamiti meeting.

Making another grand revelation said Sushil that President Koirala was preparing to quit the party leadership and also predicted that he was the next president of the Nepali Congress Party.

Only if this Koirala stepped out of GPK;s shadow long time ago. MAybe he can still rdeem himself by getting rid of GPK once and for all and giving some dignity to the party.
