Deuba spits venom against Nepal DPM Sujata

TGW

Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba, who has been freshly sermonized by the Indian leadership during his weeklong trip to New Delhi, the Mecca of Nepali politics, has begun expressing fiery remarks against his party boss Girija Prasad Koirala.

Deuba who had lobbied in favor of his beloved consort Mrs. Arjoo Deuba for her appointment as a member of the Constituent Assembly from the Nepali Congress quota, of late has been troubled by the elevation of Sujata Koirala as the deputy prime minister of the country.

Holier than thou phenomenon indeed!

For what contribution Mrs. Arjoo Deuba was awarded with the CA membership is still not known to the genuine Nepali Congress cadres.

Be that as it may, Deuba revealed that Sujata’s elevation was not the formal decision of the party.

“It was a conspiracy of the party president (Girija) to elevate his daughter Sujata as the DPM even though there were several competent senior leaders in the party”, he continued.

Mr. Deuba was talking to Nepali Congress cadres in the district of Bhaktapur, October 18, 2009.

Deuba attended a Tea Party Ceremony organized by the NC-Bhaktapur district chapter.
