Nepal veteran communist leader Rohit favors Prez Rule

TGW

Narayan Man Bijukche Rohit, the chairman of the Bhaktapur district based Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party has advocated in favor of imposing Presidential Rule in the country to get rid of the current stalemate.

“If the parties fail to find a key to the current deadlock, then presidential rule could be imposed to provide relief to the population”, he opined.

Mr. Bijukche made these remarks while addressing a book launching ceremony in Kathmandu, October 21, 2009.

Mr. Bijukche had earlier opined that continuation of political deadlock had pushed the country towards nowhere.
Comrade Rohit recently had said that either Army rule should commence or fresh parliamentary elections be held to do away with the overly stretched current political deadlock.

Actually I favour Presidential rule by dismantling present cabinet. President can form the cabinet representing all the parties as to the percentage of their representations in the current legislative parliament. One minister for each ministry and one assistant minister for each department.
