Nepal Maoists prefer yet another War: DPM Gacchedhar

The Unified Maoist party that blames the ruling coalition partners for conspiring to dissolve the Constituent Assembly, the coalition partners on the other hand claim that the Maoists’ party is itself trying to hinder the constitution drafting process by blocking the Parliamentary proceedings.

Minister for Physical Planning Mr. Bijaya Kumar Gacchedhar said that the Maoists’ party would be entirely responsible, if the Constitution was not drafted on time.

“They primarily want another war and thus conspiring to halt the Constitution Drafting Process”, he revealed.

Mr. Gacchedhar who is the chairman of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Lokatantrik also held that if the move of the president was an unconstitutional one then the Maoist can impeach the president at the parliament.

Mr. Gacchedhar was speaking at a program held in Nawalparasi District, October 26, 2009.
