Nepal Maoists two steps back to leap four steps forward

TGW

Criticized from within and without for the modes of protests adopted by the Unified Maoists Party, that may have eventually derailed the entire peace process and jeopardized the constitution drafting process, the Maoists’ Party after withdrawing their declared program to stop the operation of the International Airport in Kathmandu, have for the time being pulled out from the unilateral declaration of Autonomous Federal States.

Though the Maoists party has kept their programs to impose blockade in Kathmandu and Gherao the Government secretariat respectively slated for November 10 and November 12-13, 2009 intact, a press release issued by the party November 6, 2009, states that the party has temporarily withdrawn the declaration of Federal States slated for November 9, 2009.

The press release was issued by Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, who is the chief of the Unified Uprising Committee of the Unified Maoists’ Party.

The press release asks all the government employees not to enter into the Government Secretariat, Singh Durbar on November 12-13, 2009.

To add, the Unified Maoists’ Party Chief Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal talking to journalists in Ilam District Friday morning had also informed that his party had withdrawn the program for declaration of Autonomous Federal States.

However, he maintained that unless the unconstitutional move of the president was corrected and National Consensus Government formed, his party will continue with the declared protest programs.

Prachanda, This is your calculated move to make different ethnic groups fool about declaring autonomous federal states and again withdrawing tha same. We are aware of it. You withdraw this only, others protests remain same.

It is too much dear comrade. The plan you have in your mind is only possible by the verdict of people of Nepal, and you are avoiding that and again you are claiming people supermacy.Rediculous. The decision of President was in a toal interest of the nation, only it did not satisfy you, otherwise it was a correct decision in the given situation. If you remeber you will find that the decision which you have taken was also not in the spirite of the understanding of all party. So,please stop day dreamimg that nepal is Maoist and Maoist is nepal, how come?Nepal is combination of 30 million souvereign people, which you always forget and all the time become ready to solve the problem with gun? This not democracy my friends. And again, if you remeber and all we remember then we find abolistion of monarchy and hindu state was not at all your agenda which you forcefully applied against the will of the people, you crushed the wish of people and their supermacy.Nothing was harmful if they are allowed to exist without being hindrance in democracy just as a continuation of tradition. You know now we are feeling like parentless nepali who lost everything and even a dream to live in peace. We have lost our identity. When you will understand this?you have committed so much crimes and smiling amidst the people, see how nepali is a compassionate !,and now what are you doingforcefully ? this character is not accepable to anyone,it will simply irrode your image more worst.Better desolve the parliamant and have a fresh mandate if you so wish and confident in peoples verdict. All these evil happenings are taking place because there is not a mojority to an party. Why are you afraid? And one advice to the greedy politician also,do not be that greedy for post, you have almost killed this nation, there is breathing, please allow to recover in its naturalway, we are sure if we go to our old reformed system,we can overcome all and again Nepal will regain its lost honor.
