Upendra Yadav, the restive chief of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Nepal who landed in Kanchanpur district addressing a press gathering on Wednesday November 18, 2009 has said that the main cause of the current political crisis was the decision of President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav to exercise rights that have not been in his authority as per the interim constitution of the country.
He said the President had made unconstitutional moves and thus invited the current crisis.
“It was an unwarranted interference on the part of the president to interfere in the matters of the government”, he added.
Mr. Yadav also criticized the UML and the Nepali Congress for their haughtiness to not allow the Maoists’ discuss the unconstitutional decision of the president at the parliament.
“If allowed to discuss the resolution proposal, the current political mess could see an end”, concluded Yadav.
