Nepal UML leader Gautam demands CA tenure extension
The UML vice chairman who is often alleged as a Maoist in the UML camp, Bam Dev Gautam, has said that no matter what happens in between, it is impossible that the Constitution Drafting process will see an end on the stipulate time.
He made these remarks while addressing a press-meet organized by Press Chautari-the UML tilted media group in Dang, February 7, 2010.
“There is urgent need to amend the interim constitution to extend the tenure of the CA”, said Gautam.
“We are already focused on extending the tenure…there is no alternative”, he added.
Mr. Gautam who had earlier claimed that the country could face enormous crisis to the extent of Military Rule if Constitution was not drafted on time said surprisingly in Dang that there will be no crisis as such even if the CA tenure was extended. Gautam’s double talk this!
“Let us take some more time but draft a perfect constitution,” he added.
“The Constitution drafting delay is mainly because of the inner wrangling in major parties including the UML”, disclosed Gautam.
Gautam, October 21, 2009, had bluntly told a Kathmandu gathering that even a minute delay in the constitution draft will eventually invite Himalayan troubles for the country.

Ask each party to sellect ten percent of the CA member as constitional drafting group. Send rest of the monkies home. We will save money and the time. This Monkey house is too crowded.
Gyanendra also had said "give me 3 years, i will develop Nepal:, but no one gave him this period. Why should we give you more time ? You should be kicked out like Gyanendra was done.

Bam Dev! Why your brain is full of nonesense like Dahal and other Maoists? Get the lessons form Ronald Reagan and Vladimir Putin. Reagan was a very popular president in USA, American wanted him as a president for third term, consequently he too could change the constitution. Putin to could change constitution and be prsident for life. For on PN Jha, the 601 bastards changed the constitutin, and if they extend the tenure of uselesss CA it will not be a surprise.
