Rs. 5.7M support in Mustang: No Anti-China activities says Ambassador
H.E. Quo Guohang, Ambassador of China to Nepal after he handed over a Bank Cheque worth 5.7 Million rupees to one of the schools in Jomsom of Mustang District said that “he hoped that the population in Mustang will not let anti-China activities take place in the area”.
Ambassador Guohang also said that China was totally committed to support Nepal in the future.
He also requested the security personnel and local administration officials in Mustang not to allow pro-Tibetan activities occur in the area that adjoined Tibet.
Does Ambassador Guohang mean that now it has become a compulsion for China to extend financial support to Nepal on a continuous basis much similar to what the Indian Ambassador does quite often?
Mustang district has also for long been the favorite destination of Ambassadors of US, some European countries and India.
Nevertheless, the Chinese envoy handed over the Cheque to Chief District Officer of Mustang, Mr. Umesh Kumar Dhakal.
The amount is to be used for the construction of a two storey school building that will have a Library, Science Laboratory and ac Computer Room.
The construction work will be completed in a year time, it has been reported.
Notably, compared to India’s annual financial support to Nepal worth US$ 250 Million Chinese support stands at a meager figure of US$21.9 Million.

Your correspondent should know that Chinese surnames are written first followed by given names. Therefore "Ambassador Guohang" sounds silly to the Chinese ear and is incorrect. You also have misspelled the Ambassador's name. It should be Qiu Guohong, and he also should be addressed as Ambassador Qiu.
Look $21.9 million is simply "no money". Try harder you Chinese.
