Prachanda is broker of Indian regime: Nepal Minister Shrestha

TGW

Former firebrand Maoist turned UML central committee member and now a minister, Rabindra Shrestha is chasing his own party’s former boss in an amazing and unbelievable manner.

Mr. Shrestha was taken as a right hand man of Prachanda while the former was serving the Maoist party some years back.

Rabindra Shrestha, to recall, deserted the Maoist party forwarding reasons that the 12 point agreement which his party signed under coercion in New Delhi, November 22, 2005, was tentatively surrender to the Indian designs.

Later, Rabindra Shrestha sneaked into the UML paraphernalia and became a minister from the UML quota and has been blaming the party he deserted under one pretext or the other.

“It is only due to the Maoists but not of the other parties that the constitution could not be written on time”, says Minister Shrestha.

Addressing a UML gathering in Panauti, March 18, 2010, Minister Shrestha hurled upon his former party boss a somewhat hair raising allegation wherein he directly said that Prachanda was the “broker of the Indian establishment”.

“Prachanda centers his politics on bouncing back to power instead of carrying the peace process to its logical end”, is how Shrestha describes Prachanda’s inner intentions.

However, Minister Shrestha said that if Prachanda makes a public avowal that the constitution would be drafted on time and prior to such a draft of the constitution, the militias in the cantonments will be integrated, then he and his party could be ready to quit from the government.

“But I don’t believe that Prachanda will be interested in all these”, continued Shrestha.

“The one who makes high voltage speeches in favor of nationalism in the day but meets the Indian Ambassador when it is dark could well be taken as the broker of the Indian regime”, claims Minister Shrestha.

Now it remains to be seen as to how Prachanda and his party react to Mr. Shrestha’s blunt allegations in the days ahead.
Questions could also be asked if Prachanda is the broker of the Indian establishment then whose agent was Minister Shrestha?
By the way, Minister Shrestha's whimsical ministerial decisions too at times hit media headlines.

Minister Shrestha is UML's agent buddy - stop blatantly trying to support maos - Prachanda has always been India's poodle - he just does drama and is scared of his own thug cadres - so says otherwise.
