Kathmandu, February 26, 2022: The Embassy of Pakistan in in Nepal in collaboration with the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) organized a Free Medical Camp at Pratibha Secondary School Panchkhal, Ward No. 5, Dhulikhel, Kavre district.
This was the 15th Edition of Free Medical Camp, claim Pakistan embassy sources.
The Free Medical Camp was jointly inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador Syed Haider Shah and Manju Ratna Sakya, the General Secretary of the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship & Cultural Association (NPFCA), and together with Ms. Laxmi Danuwar-the Deputy Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality.
The Nepalese doctors and para-medical staff(s) (who had graduated from various medical institutions of Pakistan) provided free services.
In addition, a free medical treatment and three months’ medicines were provided to more than 400 men, women and children.
Patients were apprised about preventive measures against COVID-19 and they were provided with free face masks & hand sanitizers.
Ambassador Shah also handed over a gift of Projector to Ms. Laxmi Danuwar, Deputy Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality for Pratibha Secondary School.
In her remarks, Deputy Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality, Ms. Laxmi Danuwar thanked the Embassy of Pakistan and NPFCA for organizing free medical camp in Panchkhal Municipality and provision of free medical facilities to the deserving people.
She praised the Government of Pakistan and the Friendship Association for generously helping humanity.
She also thanked for the gift of Projector to the School.
In his concluding remarks, Ambassador Haider Shah said that the Free Medical Camp was a reflection of close people-to-people ties in between the people of Pakistan and the people of Nepal.
He thanked the office bearers of the NPFCA, attending doctors and the para medical staff(s) for upholding the spirit of serving the humanity, inter alia, by organizing the free medial camp.
Ambassador Shah reiterated Pakistan’s continued support for such medical camps in future as well.
The event was followed by plantation of fruit saplings at the compound of Pratibha Secondary School by Ambassador Shah.
