Kathmandu: The newly appointed US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R. Thompson says that the ‘US government has been consistently supporting for Nepal’s economic prosperity’.

The US envoy while making these observations also shared that the USs main priority is attached to the sectors of education, health, agriculture, and environment through different projects for overall development of Nepal.

Ambassador Thompson made this statement while being in Nepalganj during the course of his trip to Western Nepal.

Ambassador Thompson also briefed the local journalists that preparation were underway to bring some special programmes of information/technology in Nepal.

“We want to lay special emphasis on the development of road, hydropower and small and medium-scale industries,” the US envoy summed up.
