Nepal-Japan ties: Japan Assists the Improvement of Educational Environment in Udayapur District

Kathmandu: The grant contract for the construction of new classrooms at Shree Chandrawati Secondary School in Udayapur District was signed , November 28, 2023, between Ambassador Kikuta and Mr. Babu Ram Gole, Executive Director of Kids of Kathmandu.

Notably, this project is funded under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project (GGP) of the Government of Japan and includes a grant of USD 65,298 (approximately NPR 8.5 million).

It aims to improve the educational environment by constructing new classroom buildings at the school.

Shree Chandrawati Secondary School was established in 1960.
